Keeping her promise, Heather returned in 2011. Her initial intent was to simply distribute babydolls in the community and come home but the host in Haiti wanted to know what else Heather could do. One thing led to another and Heather traveled to Haiti to teach ballet classes, craft dance skirts out of scarves, and give out baby dolls at Maison des Enfants de Dieu, an orphanage in the capital of Port Au Prince. After that trip, Heather realized Haiti had made a lasting and permanent impression on her heart and in her life and she founded Project Grace.
